# AsyncSwap > AsyncSwap is an asynchronous limit-order protocol built as a Uniswap v4 hook. Makers post an order with the exact input and the minimum output they accept; the input is escrowed in the PoolManager. Fillers (market makers, solvers, AI agents) settle the order on-chain when they can beat the maker's price, paying the maker's minimum plus the protocol fee and keeping the spread. It exists for large swaps that a pool cannot absorb without slippage: the maker sets the price, waits, and gets paid, instead of taking whatever a constant-product curve gives. Two kinds of agent use AsyncSwap. A **maker** agent places, reprices and cancels orders by signing EIP-712 messages and sending the transaction from its own wallet. A **filler** agent reads the open order book over the public API, verifies on-chain state, and settles orders through the Router. ## Agents - [Capabilities](https://app.asyncswap.org/capabilities.md): what an agent can do with AsyncSwap today (read, make, fill) and what is planned (agent accounts, A2A fills, private orders, multi-hop) - [MCP server card](https://app.asyncswap.org/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json): read-only MCP server at https://app.asyncswap.org/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no auth) - [Agent Skills](https://app.asyncswap.org/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json): how to fill orders and how to place, reprice and cancel them ## API - [OpenAPI 3.1 spec](https://api.asyncswap.org/openapi.json): every REST endpoint, the WebSocket stream, and the order-id formula - [API reference](https://api.asyncswap.org/): human-readable rendering of the same spec - [API catalog](https://api.asyncswap.org/.well-known/api-catalog): RFC 9727 linkset for this API - [Live status](https://api.asyncswap.org/v1/status): indexer height and health per chain - [Open orders](https://api.asyncswap.org/v1/filler/orders?chainId=130): the order book a filler reads - [Pools](https://api.asyncswap.org/v1/filler/pools?chainId=130): pool ids, tokens and hook per market ## Contracts - Unichain (chain id 130): hook 0x917b2e7C352af82c35C7a4477d7D055C54E76888, router 0x88A76b0991016754425093C8fB440744c5574b75 - Arc (chain id 5042): hook 0x911947FB822261F19Cb644191244bef29CAE6888, router 0x36f8e4a87c815Fd9Ae4112788DFF6EE64A7193f8 - [Protocol source](https://github.com/asyncswap/v2): hook, Router, deploy scripts, Foundry tests - [Order lifecycle](https://app.asyncswap.org/llms-full.txt): the Create / Reprice / Fill / Cancel state machine and the invariants fillers can rely on ## App - [Swap](https://app.asyncswap.org/swap): place an order - [Filler](https://app.asyncswap.org/filler): browse and fill open orders - [Order flow explorer](https://app.asyncswap.org/explorer): where each swap settled - [Docs](https://docs.asyncswap.org/): product guides and the asset registry ## Optional - [Terms](https://app.asyncswap.org/terms) - [Privacy](https://app.asyncswap.org/privacy) - [Brand kit](https://app.asyncswap.org/brand)
